EMAIL UPDATE

Date: September 10th, 2024

Mulberry Telecommunications recently made an investment to upgrade our webmail server. This upgrade will provide a more modern look and includes some additional features our current server does not. As we upgrade and migrate our email users over to the new platform, we will have our IT team standing by to answer calls and assist customers with logging in. 

 

Though we offer 24/7 support, we ask that you please call our tech support line at 765.296.9900 from 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday with any email issues specific to this migration. This ensures that we can get you taken care of quickly and efficiently.  Thank you for choosing Mulberry Telecommunications as your provider. It is always our pleasure to serve you!


1. Open Thunderbird
2. Click on your 'email address' above Inbox on the left side
3. Next click on 'Account Settings' near the top-right
4. Click on 'Outgoing Server' on the left hand side
5. Click 'Edit' near the center of the screen
6. At the bottom in the 'Username' field add: @mintel.net
7. Click on 'Server Settings' on the left hand side
8. Once again in the 'Username' field add: @mintel.net
9. Click on your 'email address' above Server Settings
 on the left side
10. A prompt will appear. Click 'OK'
11. Another prompt will appear. Click 'Restart'


1. Open Outlook
2. Click on your 'File' in the upper right hand corner
3. Next click on 'Account Settings' 
4. From the dropdown menu select 'Server Settings'
5. A box will appear. In the 'username' field add: @mintel.net
6. At the bottom in the 'Username' field add: @mintel.net
7. Click on 'Next'
8. Your account will update and click 'Done'

 


1. Click on the 'Settings' Icon
2. Scroll down till you see 'Mail' and select it
3. Click on 'Accounts'
4. If you have multiple emails, select the Mintel Email you want to update
5. Click in the 'Username' field and add: @mintel.net
6. Select 'Done' at the top of the screen
7. If your device takes you back out to the 'Accounts' screen, then select the email you were just working with again. Otherwise....
8. Select 'SMTP' under the outgoing mail server option
9. At the top Select "smtp.mintel.net' under the primary server option
10. Click in the 'Username' field and again add: @mintel.net
11. Select 'Done' at the top of the screen
